Triangular wedge
For a sandwich cut on the diagonal. Match the carton to the cut piece, not to the whole loaf.

Custom sandwich boxes for UK cafes, bakeries, delis and food-to-go counters. Wedge and rectangular cartons are quoted to your sandwich size. No prices or standard sandwich sizes are listed here.
Sandwich boxes are small cartons for a triangular wedge or a long filled roll. They are not bakery and cake boxes, which are for cakes and pastries, and they are not food grade containers, which suit tubs, salads and other lidded foods. A branded carton for a bagel or a filled roll, where the print is the main brief, is covered by printed bagel and sandwich boxes.
A cut sandwich usually wants a triangular carton. A baguette or uncut roll usually wants a longer rectangle. Measure the sandwich after it is made, including tall fillings, and put those dimensions on the quote form.
Many cafes put the closed carton into paper shopping bags. Side salads and crisps are a better fit for takeaway food trays than for the sandwich carton. Bakeries planning cakes as well as sandwiches can use bakery packaging for the cake range and keep this page for the sandwich.

For rolls, baguettes and uncut sandwiches. Length is the measurement that is most often wrong, so measure the filled roll.
